Employee Productivity and Mental Health: The Missing Link
Productivity is often measured through targets, deadlines, output, attendance, and business results. These measures are important, but they do not tell the complete story of how people are able to work. An employee may be physically present and completing assigned tasks while struggling with concentration, motivation, sleep, stress, or emotional exhaustion. Another employee may appear productive for a period while relying on excessive working hours to keep up with expectations. These situations can remain unnoticed until performance begins to decline.
